Dylan Trickey

Dylan joined JHK Legal in June 2014, coming from a background working in commercial litigation, working for both plaintiffs and defendants on general commercial disputes, debt recovery, personal and corporate insolvency, and property and tax disputes.

“My favourite aspect of my work at JHK Legal is the court appearances. It keeps me on my toes, encourages me to think on my feet, challenges me and every case is different,” says Dylan, “and the bigger cases in particular enable me to further develop my legal skills.

“But the most rewarding aspect for me is being able to represent clients in the small business field, especially clients with not a lot of financial backing. Both my father and grandfather were ‘tradies’, so I have a personal interest in helping these clients keep their businesses afloat by helping them recover any money owed to them.”

Dylan has obtained a combined Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts degree from Deakin University, graduating in 2012 and has also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Institute of Law. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in August 2012.
