About Andrew

Andrew Gouveia is an Associate at JHK Legal and has gained several years of legal experience across several national commercial law firms.

Throughout his career Andrew has practiced in general litigation across a variety of areas including commercial debt recovery, insolvency, construction, and motor vehicle property damage claims. 

Andrew prides himself on being a determined advocate for all his clients and consistently aims to deliver both accurate and commercially pragmatic legal advice for his clients.

Andrew recognises the cost benefits of alternative dispute resolution for his clients and has obtained extensive experience in acting for various clients in a range of negotiations, mediations, and settlement conferences.

Andrew has achieved successful results in various jurisdictions including Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia and currently holds a practicing certificate in New South Wales having been admitted in July 2020. 

Outside of the law and during his free time Andrew enjoys staying active, reading about ancient history and is a self-proclaimed movie buff.
