About Rhonda

Rhonda King is currently Special Counsel at JHK Legal and has over 38 years’ experience working at a variety of commercial law firms. Throughout her career Rhonda has assisted clients with their commercial and corporate legal transactions.

Rhonda has worked with a clients ranging from sole proprietors to public companies.

More recently Rhonda has worked on negotiating terms of shareholder agreements; assisting with due diligence enquiries for a public company prior to a business purchase; and restructuring for small to medium sized businesses.

Rhonda also has experience providing finance and intellectual property legal services.

Rhonda always aims to provide her clients with commercially pragmatic advice resulting in positive solutions.  Her extensive experience means she can assist with solutions that have not been previously considered by her clients or their other advisors.

Rhonda has practised in all Australian jurisdictions and currently holds a practicing certificate in Queensland.

Rhonda has a BA and an LLB from Otago University and an LLM (Commercial Law) from QUT.

Outside of the law Rhonda likes to travel, cook and read.
