We are seeking a talented and motivated Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview
You will play a key role in supporting our legal team by providing comprehensive administrative assistance across a wide range of matters. Your exceptional organisational skills and keen attention to detail are crucial, as the team will depend on you to ensure that the processes run smoothly and effectively for our clients.
Your Key Responsibilities
- File opening and diary management.
- Answering phone calls and assisting clients with any questions they have.
- Drafting correspondence and legal documents.
- Filing Documentation on the online court registry.
- Preparing tribunal and court documentation.
- Monitoring critical dates to ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide general support to lawyers and other team members as needed.
- Closing and Archiving.
- Assisting with end of month invoicing process.
In addition, we value candidates with:
- Strong Background in administrative support – preferably the legal industry.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities. You are comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities all at once
- Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong work ethic
- Sound Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
