About David

David Chen is currently a Senior Associate at JHK Legal and has over 14 years’ experience working at a variety of litigation and insolvency law firms in Brisbane.

Throughout his career, he has assisted clients with secured and unsecured recovery, contract, construction, employment and shareholder disputes.

David has worked with clients ranging from listed companies to sole traders and enjoys appearing in Court across various matters (published decision of Deputy Commissioner of Taxation v Helico Pty Ltd (Administrator Appointed) [2012] FCA 1155).

He also has experience providing risk identification and assessment as well as company/individual financial analysis services.

David is an excellent communicator and always aims to apply his skills and legal knowledge to efficiently manage and resolve disputes in order to achieve a commercial outcome.

David has practiced in most Australian jurisdictions and currently holds a practicing certificate in Queensland.
