About Emily

Emily Coetzee is currently a Special Counsel at JHK Legal and has over 6 years’ experience working at a variety of commercial law firms.

Throughout her career she has primarily assisted clients in the provision of mortgage documentation and settlement services. Emily has worked with clients ranging from large banks to non-bank lenders, and more recently has worked with specialised non-bank lenders to streamline their settlement processes.

Emily possesses excellent analytical skills and always aims to provide her clients with the most suitable solution that ensures compliance and risk minimisation. She is highly skilled in legal research, team leadership and prioritisation of time sensitive tasks, and always strives to maintain strong client relationships.

Outside of the law, Emily enjoys practicing yoga, going on coastal walks and training her rambunctious German Shepherd.
