About Sarah

Sarah is an Associate at JHK Legal with over 5 years’ experience working in the commercial and property law space. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2022 and was admitted to practise mid-2023.

Sarah advises clients across a broad range of commercial matters, including business purchases and sales, leasing matters, shareholder agreements, trust structuring, and Personal Property Securities advice. She also has extensive experience in property transactions involving real property lodgements and withdrawals, and her property experience includes a strong focus on caveat and mortgage law across all Australian jurisdictions.

For the past 3 years, Sarah has specialised in the banking and finance field and regularly acts on behalf of lenders in consumer and corporate lending, debtor finance and asset finance transactions. Her work includes advising on complex lending structures, preparing and negotiating loan and security documentation, and advising on and attending settlements.

Sarah has practised in all Australian jurisdictions and currently holds a practicing certificate in Queensland.

She is known for her approachable manner and commitment to providing clients with prompt and pragmatic advice.

Outside of the law, Sarah enjoys reading, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.
